Prefix routing, also referred to as prefix call routing or origin routing, puts your caller through to the right regional department or subsidiary in no time. This minimizes the time your caller spends in the call queue. With prefix routing you don’t have to ask the caller to indicate his location, because the system recognizes the origin of the call automatically. So no wrong connections!
How does prefix routing work?
TeleForwarding’s prefix routing system is equipped with a prefix recognition system. As soon as the call comes in, prefix routing starts and your customer will be forwarded to the respective department or person without even noticing. If you want, you can also add a welcome message in the caller’s own language. Prefix routing can be implemented for national prefixes, but also for regional prefixes.
